Engineering can be defined as a process of \”Advancing the available tools, with
the defined and existing principles of science for the convenience and comfort
of the uncontrollably growing population. Engineering is an art, of science. It is
like how we utilize the existing conceptual things to bring in big ease and
comfort to the living human community. This art was initially accepted only at
fewer fields like civil and arch. But later educating younger and brighter students
on various other fields were tried, these experimentations made so many new
things possible. many convenient tools were been able to be developed from
the scratch. Bringing in the education called engineering in electronics,
electrical, mechanical and computer science made the dreams possible. All
these changes happened because all the new, young minds studying
engineering in different streams were able to induce their own thought to the old
science theories. It is a huge bonus to the researching teams too. These young
mind will see various demands and hardships in various aspects of our daily
life. So it was still more easier for these brains to find a problem to solve with
their basics. Thus the engineering was finally growing in all the fields.
Nowadays there is an engineering study for home sciences too. Now finally the
education systems and industry have identified the importance of engineering
study in all the fields.
Today engineering is one the most chosen and liked subjects among students
in many developing countries around the world. Specially due to the boom in the
information technology sector and the passion towards it. The course and
subject has so many advantages and positiveness in it but the sad part
happening to this currently is, as the demand for the course increases like
crazy the quality of education goes declined enormously. For example: In
countries like India, there are colleges and students who are still studying the
same syllabus, which was framed ten to twenty years ago. Yes, it can be said
that the basics of science do not change with time! but this trend and ignorance
is producing lakhs of unskilled engineers every year. this type of carelessness
by the educationalist and university head will make people and industries to
loose interest in hiring engineers for hight paying jobs. owning to there lack in
dexterity and technical skills.
